‘A cloud of uncertainty’ for US platform workers as rescue plan benefits expire

Platform workers in the US benefited from the American Rescue Plan Act, a $1.9tn coronavirus relief package, though some analysts have suggested parts of its implementation were slow and uneven, and some of the benefits that the rescue plan provided were temporary. This opens up questions about how it will affect those workers after those provisions have lapsed.
